The first step is getting started on your healthy diet and exercise routine. The second step is how to maintain your weight loss diet for the long term. I find that the best way to maintain it is to call it something different than a diet which to some people, a diet means a temporary program to lose weight and before they know it, they are back to having the same bad eating habits as before.
I prefer to call it a positive lifestyle change and by doing that, it reminds me of all of the positive benefits it brings. Such as eating healthy nutritious foods that are low in calories and fat, giving me more energy to do my daily exercise routine and just generally feeling better about myself. All positive things that lead to a healthy lifestyle and easy to do.
